Saber Nacer

To our sister midwives, who have answered the call to aid in the enormous need, we also send special prayers for safety and endurance.  As they lovingly guide life into this world may they help heal wounds and give hope as well.  The world needs midwives now as much or more than ever.

The days are getting longer now.  Like new shoots stirring under the earth we are beginning to reach for the light.   We hold possibility, nurture growth and give selflessly. Just as we do this for the women, babies and families that we serve, we need to come together to nurture the growth and possibilities of midwifery and each other as midwives.
